Was leading IL in strikeouts (72) and was 10th in ERA (3.61) when contract was purchased by Phillies, 6/9.
Won ML debut, 6/11 vs TOR, 8-4, 5.2 IP, 1 ER; 1st Phillie to win debut since Carlton Loewer, 6/14/98 vs CHI.
