Metroid Attack!

It was believed that with the death of the last metroid, the species would forever be extinct. This was not so. Through acquired DNA, scientists at Ceres2 were able to clone the creatures. There were those who resented this. They feared that resurrecting the metroids would no doubt lead to chaos. To safeguard against such a threat, the cloned metroid's DNA was altered to deprive them of parasitical characteristics and hostility toward humans. The opposition still had doubts. However, through study of the cloned Metroids, there came astonishing finds such as cures for diseases that have since gone on to save thousands of lives. The cloned Metroids became willing soldiers for the Galactic Federation and would never stray.
The Galaxy was at peace . . .

Until . . .

A capsule of unaltered Metroid DNA went missing from Ceres2. For weeks the Galactic Federation sent their forces out to find and retrieve the lost capsule. They followed any and all leads but found nothing.

One day, the Galactic Federation was sent a message. A creature calling itself Father Brain- who may have been in cohorts with the deceased Mother Brain- claimed to have cloned a Metroid- A complete, unaltered Metroid. He threatened to use its seemingly endless energy source against the Federation. Father Brain left no room for negotiation before the transmission was quickly halted.

Immediately, the Federation called upon, once again, Samus Aran for assistance.

"Samus, we believe that Father Brain may be using the Metroid's energy to power a doomsday weapon located somewhere on the planet Zebes. You must go there, destroy the weapon, and then take down Father Brain. The terrain will be near impenetrable and the creatures that call Zebes home will be quite hostile. This is why we must resort to something drastic . . ."

A collection of cloned Metroids was left to Samus's care. Her ship alone would not be enough. The soldier Metroids would be needed to break through the planet's barriers to reach the planet's core where Father Brain is believed to be waiting.

Something evil has come over Yoshi's Island. The once peaceful setting has become dark and errie as a full moon lights the sky and the sounds of rabid dogs seem to beckon a primal force upon the land. Yoshi must dawn mysterious masks and journey through varied levels to find the reason behind the chaos.

In "Night of the Full Moon", the night air will transform Yoshi into a fearsome beast. He'll continue onto "Haunted" where strobe lights make navigating difficult and you'll have to watch your step because you never know what could jump out at you in any instant. In "Monster Movie Madness" you'll find yourself in a world that lacks color as you'll come across horror movie's most famed monsters.
