Tracy Byrd vs Nora Daigle for the IFBA lightweight title. Tracy is the better boxer of the two, but cannot put Nora away over the 10-round distance. Nora absorbs an awful lot of punches. It is perhaps a sign of women's pro boxing "coming of age" that the referee (Fred Steinwinder) did not stop the fight, and let Nora prove what tremendous courage she had.
