Hot Beever News:

March 15th, 2000: Beevers take hibernation early!  The Screemin Beevers took an unexpected early exit from the playoffs in their first round game vs. The Cove.  In what proved to be an ugly game overall, the Beevers were less than stellar in their performance and lost 84 - 78.  Best of luck to the team in the next season....look for many of the Beevers to be playing in the El-Fresco Summer League!

March 8th, 2000: The Playoffs have been set.  The Beevs finished tied for third with the Rempels.  However, due to our cancellation of the game, we finish fourth and the Rempels third. We will not make up this game.  So, our first playoff game is on March 12th, 2000 at Evan Hardy at 4:30pm vs. The Cove!  The madness is here, its time for the Beevers to make their march!

February 28th, 2000: We plan on playing our make up game vs. the Rempels on Tuesday March 7th, 2000.  If you have any objections, let Mirtle know ASAP.  The game will most likely be played at MRCI in the evening!

February 11, 2000: The night of the Beever Bonding party / pot-luck has been changed.  We can thank one "special" future lawyer that gets plans made around him for this!  Anyways, the night has been moved to February 19th, 2000.  Make sure to e-mail Scott and inform him of what you are bringing to the pot-luck (U must bring some actual "dish" and that does not mean your date!)

January 11th, 2000: Barclay Patterson started his holiday season with a bang!  Patterson needed immediate surgery on his apendix and will likely be out of action for the next three to four weeks, possibly longer.

January 11th, 2000: Congrats is extended out to Scott Dehm as he and his wife, Marlene,  moved in to their new house over the holiday season.  We are still, however, waiting for the huge Beever bonding night to take place at the location!

The Beevers would like to wish everyone a prosperous New Year!  BEEV2K!!

January 24th, 2000: Game cancelled! The Beever game on January 30, 2000 has been cancelled.  The Fighting Llamas apparently can't rip themselves away from the television and the SuperBowl - football players!  We will make the game up at a later date.

January 20th, 2000: HEAR YE, HEAR YE!  Guys, I have some questions for you................and I want honest answers! BEEVS..........have you ever: seen Barclay puke pink after trying to climb the mountain? Eaten ALL of Geoff's care-packages of lasagne?  Seen the gorgeous Amber Fire rip off her clothes for you on your birthday? Made an entire section of Education Gym reek like booze while Bonhe lit up the dogs? Seen Geoff's superior lumbar positioning and posture as he honks outside Chris' apartment?  Had to flee NiteMagic after a 40 year-old from Porcupine Plain waved a $50 bill in front of your face?  Become a born-again virgin?  Still been drunk for warm-ups?  If you answered no to any of these questions..............here's your chance! If you answered yes to these questions........................here we go again!

Scott and Marlene Dehm

In association with SCREEMIN' BEEVERS Basketball,

With talk of retirement from several of this years key veterans, the Screemin Beevers players, coaches and management are in hot pursuit of some of this years top prospects from the Saskatoon Highschool League and from Cross Canada (P.E.I. especially).  Before any names can be posted on the site, the players must officiall sign with the team, both written and "orally."  Check back often for upcoming hopefuls for next season.
