Tons of updates to sound and video drivers.... More than I can count. This is the latest verson of M.A.M.E. There has been so many different versions of 0.33, but beta 4 is the up-to-date ver. Currently, M.A.M.E. emulates 565 games. I am a little disapointed in the fact that Jeff Miller has discontinued his MAME/W frontend. Hopefully someone will pick up from where Jeff has left off. Anyway, GO PLAY SOME MAME!!!
02/25/98 Little is known about MAME ver .31 except that Arkanoid will perfectly playable. Also in is Speed rumbler, City Connection, a great game by the way, Return of the Jedi, Speed Rumbler, Mania Challenge, Killer Comet, Dark Planet, Bandido, Boot Hill, Far West, Guzzler, Super Breakout, Super Qix, Sprint 1, Star Fire (MSK), Frisky Tom, Rygar, Hamburger, Maga Attack, and Tazmania. 01/30/98 MAME .30 is out and I finally updated my page! I am going to add some new graphics and update my links page while I have the time. I have no new news on MAME ver .031, but some should be comming soon. Stay tuned!
12/24/97 It may be a few weeks before MAME 0.30 is out (You know, technical difficuties and all.) Rumor has it that it may be out on Jan. 14th. Better to have a superior product than one with flaws. Personally, I can stand the wait. It may not be a very merry Christmas for thoes who can't, but it will certainly be a happy new year. With somewhere in the range of 85+ games in the works, (about half bootleg or updated games), this will certainly be the biggest and best MAME update ever. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!
12/17/97 50+ games; sound updates; secret games; intrigue; suspense; shaken not stirred; all the elements that will make up MAME 0.30. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth and an updated version of MAME. It may be out as early as this Monday the 22nd; the perfect gift for everyone on your list. I hope I have enough time to play MAME and wrap gifts before the holiday.
11/27/97 There is already talk about MAME V 0.30. While there is no definite release date, here are a few facts to keep you informed and excited. New sound drivers will be included in the newest version of MAME: Three Stooges and Yie Ar Kung Fu will have sounds via samples and Pacman will get updated sounds due to re-written Namco sound drivers. Also, Super Basketball, Gun Smoke, and Vulgus will get accurate colors. New games include: Track and Field (smack those keys!), Food Fight, Frenzy, Super Zaxxon, Bump N Jump, and Traverse USA. All in all, a total of around 20 - 25 new games are expected in 0.30, which will, in fact, bring the MAME game total to almost 300 (WOW!!). Hopefully I will have some time this week to spend some "quality time" with my MAME page to add more stuff and keep you up to date with the latest breaking news.

The new Capcom games run nice, but need to be optimized a bit.
Also, Exerion apparantly uses some strange hardware, and it's giving the
MAME Team some problems. Expect to see about 20 or more new games
in .29!!! The front end for mame, Mame Win ver.29 (my personal favorite)
will also come out about the same time MAME .29 is implemented. As you may know, release was set for mid Oct. It could be as soon as a week from this Monday, Oct 13th.
