In their first game they went down early 1-0 but came back. They won 4-2 Tom Funk scored twice, Chaas Collins scored once, Jonny Yachoumakis scored once. Thanx to Eric Masteys great job of moving the ball and to Ryan Bermel for saving all those goals. In their second game thy also went down 1-0 early but battled back thanx to Chass Collins who scored twice, Tom Funk who scored once, Eric Mastey who had alot of chances and Ryan Bermel who had an outstandig Game in the Net the Tinley Park Bobcats went on to defeat their rivals the Oswego Panthers 3-2. In their third game they played the HF Power they won 4-1 thanx to Eric Mastey, TJ Funk, Chass Collins and Anthony Caesaro. In their forth game they played the Bourbonnais Stray Cats they went up early with a penalty kick scored by Tom Funk and then on a corner kick Tom Funk kicked the ball in from the top of the penalty box nice job TJ and a nice job by Eric Mastey who helped move the ball around and the Tinley Park pull it out in a 2-1 victory over the Stray Cats. Their next game was at home against Chicago United. In this game Kenny Horn led the Bobcats to a 2-0 win over Chicgo United Thanx to Eric Mastey, Tom Funk, Chaas Collins, Tony Caesaro, Kevin Durnbaugh, Kevin Dunne and Ryan Bermel for his solid perforence in the net under such hot weather. The Bobcats games have been canceled for 3 weeks due to not having enough players. Their next game will be June 10th against the Hinsdale Lightning. Against Hinsdale the Bobcats came out a little rustie not having played for 3 weeks they lost a heart breaker 2-0 they just could not score Ryan Bermel had a pretty good game Tony Caesaro had a great game and so did Kevin Dunrbaugh nice job guys. Their next game will be against the Lombard Firebirds. In the Lombard game the Bobcats went down 1-0 early in the first half, but thanx to Tj funk and Chass Collins they came back to win it 2-1 Nice job in net Ryan Bermel. Their next victiams will be the Lincoln Way Stingrays. In the Lincoln Way game the Bobcats went up 1-0 early with a nice shot by Tom funk but thenLincoln came back to tie the score at 1 but it would not stay that way for long when TJ Funk put another on in the back of the net then Eric Mastey scored from outside of the penalty Box off the top post. It stayed that way until after have when Ryan Bermel came out of net for the first time in 5 games. The final score was 9-2 Bobcats Thanx to Tj Funk, Eric Mastey, Andy Gahan, Ryan Bermel, Johnny Yachoumakis, Chaas Collins, Kevin Durnbaugh, Brian Kline and the rest of the team good job guys. In the First round of the World Cup the USA will play Germany their first game on the 15th at 3:00 pm on ABC. Thir next victiam will be Iran on the 21st at 3:00 pm on ABC. The Chicago Fire got off to a good start this season eventhough they are a expansion team they got off to a 2-0 start. But they sort of went downhill after that they lost 1-0 to the Kansas City Wizards, 1-0 to the San Jose Calsh, 1-0 to the New York New Jersey Metrostars and 5-4 to the Colorado Rapids the Fire lost a Heart breaker to the defending Champions D.C. United 3-1. Their next game is against The Tampa Bay Mutiny in Tampa Bay, FL. In this game the fire won 2-1. Which brings them to a record of 3 and 5. Their next game is against the L.A. Galaxy. In the game agaist the L.A. Galaxy the fire got off to a 1-0 lead in the first half. In the second Half the fire scored twice and the Galaxy only scored once so the Fire go on to best the Galaxy in a 3-1 heart Breaker. Next the Fire will play the Colorado Rapids at Solider Field. In the Rapids game the fire went up early 1-0 at half. In the Second half the Fire just exploded to score 4 goals to win 5-0. Which brings them back to second place behind the L.A.
