Sofia's I love Carson Page
Carson Jones Daly was born on
June 22, 1973, making him a on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer. He was raised in
Santa Monica with his older sister, Quinn, mom, Pattie Daly Caruso, and stepdad,
Richard Caruso. Unfortuately, his biological dad died of cancer when he was 5.
He graduated from Santa Monica High School in Southern California and went on to
study theology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (where he seriously
considered becoming a Roman Catholic priest), which he dropped out of after a
semester to attend College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA.. In high school he
was on the golf team and even competed against Tiger Woods a couple times, and
he wanted to go pro. He moved to Palm Springs after dropping his theology
course, as an aspiring golf pro.
While in Palm Springs, Carson achieved an internship at KCMJ, where he learned
the first rule of radio: "If you have an esophagus and a pulse, you too can
be on the air". He started doing overnights for an alternative station in
San Diego. After he got sick of that, he moved in with his sister and started
working part time for LIVE 105. After working there for a while, he finally got
a call from KOME, offering him a job. With this job he was the first person in
the US to interview Alanis got to go to the MTV Music Awards, the Grammy's and
Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Florida. When he was later working for KROQ
in 1996, "MTV offered me a job, I accepted." And that's how it all
happened.
Well, that was his past, all that matters now is that he is on MTV Live and
Total Request for us to gawk at. Not only is he good looking, but he is also
great at his job. But, even though it's hard to believe, Carson is a normal
person! Some of his favorite foods are Slim Jims and Otter Pops.... (hey, I eat
those!) He also likes the LA Lakers and Oakland Raiders. His favorite TV show is
"Party of Five", and his favorite movies are "Barfly" and
"Willy Wonka". His favorite bands are Smashmouth, Third Eye Blind,
Blink 182, Prodigy, Less Than Jake, Everclear, NIN, some rap, and Hanson.
