AC Milan was founded almost 100 years ago by a group of english expatriates in the city of Milano. Early on, the colors for the club were chosen to be red and black and the symbol or mascot was chosen to be the Devil, to strike fear into the hearts of opponents. Over time, the rossoneri from Milano became known throughout the world as AC Milan, winning 3 World Club Championships, 5 times they have been champions of Europe and they have ranked up 15 Italian championsships. With legends such as Nordahl, Schiaffino, Rivera, Baresi, van Basten, and Gullit, AC Milan is one of the most storied football clubs on the planet.
