| Super-rabbit BAXTER, with his faithful sidekick GINGER, gallop off on their trusty steed (err, would you believe she's an elephant?) ZIGGY, on their mission to fight polluters, save the trees from evil woodcutters, and help animals and humans who are victims of discrimination and injustice. Ginger is a brown guinea-pig, who shares his chief's desire to save the planet. They live in a luxury hutch on Bunny Island, beside a flame tree. A house filled with humans is nearby. Baxter regards the humans as his pets, and has trained them to leave the house computer turned on when they go to bed to allow bunny surfing all night. The humans have also been trained to deliver nice food to the hutch whenever the animals push a button. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Baxter is a scientist, specialising in chemistry, astronomy, biology, and physics. He spends a lot of time (when not out on eco-warrior missions) on the net doing research, and has an e-mail address: [email protected] That scamp Ginger says the Grey Chief (as Baxter is familiarly known on Bunny Island) is mad, and even set up an e-mail address for him: [email protected] Baxter is bemused by these playful antics of his sidekick, and tolerates his jests. But it would never pay to make such jests about Ziggy, who is enormous and very heavy! Ginger is a geologist, and he can be reached on: [email protected]. Ziggy is computer illiterate, but Baxter has plans to build him a special giant keyboard that will respond to elephant hoofs. Ziggy has smashed 412 keyboards trying to learn to surf the net. Baxter enjoys sports, and his faves are high-jumping, scuba-diving, and skateboarding. | He likes reading books and newspapers, and especially enjoys science-fiction, where he believes all the things he reads about can very easily be made into reality. We shall see how he fares in this regard!
