Investment Warriors was founded in December of 2000 to provide a forum for young adults to learn and share their investment knowledge. Many of the founding members are alumni of local universities. Our members have a variety of professional backgrounds (from investment firms to entertainment) as well as educational expertise (business to English majors and to biology). We use an aggresive growth appoach aimed to secure a high rate of return and maximizing risk tolerance. We balance our portfolio with well-established companies that are leaders in their industry and exhibit strong characteristics of long-term appreciation and using the power of comound interest. Investment Warriors (IW) meet once a month in the metroploitan Los Angles area where we teach each other the fundamental tools necessary to build a strong investment portfolio. We endorse the philosophies of both the National Association of Investors Corporation and The Motley Fool.
