-=Many years ago a young Duchess Rose deTiyne was selected to knight a man by the name of Osyrise Dynasty. Rose set herself up at the alter stand. She was very beautiful, she had peach colored skin, with rosy cheeks, a tall slim body, and eyes the color of the dawn sky. The man, Osyrise, could not help but to notice her beauty. Rose wore a long ceremonial gown made of silk and thin lace. Her belt and sleeves were made from fine gold stitch. Rose straitened up and lowered the kings sword onto Osyrise's right shoulder, speaking some Greek and Latin phrases she knighted him. There was a small crowd behind them taking witness of the fine ceremony. An old man carrying the staff of the gods. A young boy, who was interested in becoming a knight and two more ordinary witness's sent by the king. After Osyrise rose. He could not speak, for he was lost in Rose's eyes ever more. After that Osyrise began to visit the palace grounds more often to see young Rose. After a few years, no one knows for sure, they were married. Three years past and they had a daughter whom was named Kin. Kin took her mothers looks and her fathers wisdom and turned into a bright young lady. She was taught by her father to fight and defend herself for any occasion. Then every other day she was taught by her mother how to stand, walk, talk and behave like a true lady. But the outbreak of pestilence that winter cost her mother's life. That same week of her mothers death something arose. A war between Laurel, her home land, and Nomit another sister kingdom. Nomit accused Laurel of starting the outbreak, which was impossible since the illness traveled in the thick wind of the North. Two weeks later war was declared. All the kings army was called into battle, including Kins father. Her father was a tall man, with brown eyes and a thick trimmed mustache. That day she leaned over a stone ramp with a small dragon like gargoyle at the base. Small vines with pink roses crept up the stone walls beside her. She looked at her father: He was wearing chain?mal all down his sleeves and chest. Over that was a dark red garment with golden symbols of the kings privy seal. His head was covered by a large bucket helmet with a pull down shield and rope like trim. She looked to her side and watched as the other men marched out the stone gates into the deep woods. She then turned back when her fathers horse was shifting and growing weary. Her father was about to head onward when she reached out and grabbed his arm. With no words said she tired her favorite scarf onto his arm, it was deep red with roses on it. She tied it tight. ?God Speed? she whispered as he slipped out the stone walls, never to be seen or heard from again. After her home land surrendered to Nomit Kin moved to Rhydin...So far she finds it the wrong choice...for a few reasons...Over the years she has made many many friends but just as quickly lost them over some disagreement or misunderstanding, she holds only two friends dear to her, those whom she know will not abandon her.=-
