The Execlusive Mew!
Still thought to be a mere rumor in many parts of the world, Mew has only been seen in captivity a few times. Ultra-rare psychic pokemon naturally learns normal and psychic type attacks as it evolves, but it also possessess the ability to learn every single TM and HM ever created. Of course, such powers make this pokemon sought after many collectors. You will never find it in the game, however. Mew has been given away a few times in Japan and as a promotion in Nintendo Power in January of '99, and rumor has it there will be more Mew giveaways in the future

Infinite Items:
Ok here is the example, say you want infinite rare candy? Make sure You HM's Fly and Surf and have them taught to a pokemon currently in your line up. Ok fly to Viridian City from Cinnabar Island, walk directly to the fat man that blocked your way in the beginning, talk to him and say no you are not in a hurry, then fly directly back to Cinnabar Island walk directly to the shore line to the right, use surf ride you pokemon up and down the line until you are attacked by a Missinago, he will be screwed up looking. Then check the 6th item and see if there is a x99 or a weird picture next to it.
Stopping the Presses!:
You like your Pokemon how he is? When it is evolving press the B button before it is done, and it should say WHat? Abra has stopped evolving. This only works on pokemon that evolve by exp. points.

Pick and Choose Pokemon:
In Safferon City, go to building next to the GYM and complete it. You can choose from HitmonChan, or Hitmonlee.
In Mt. Moon near the exit you can choose between the fossils, Kabuto and Omantye. I am not sure of the offical fossil names but as soon as i find out they will be posted.
In the Red/Blue Version in the beginning you are asked to pick one of three pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle.
After recieving Eevee in Celadon Mansion evolve it into one of three forms by exposing it to the Water, Thunder, or Fire Stone.
Water: Vaporeon
Fire:Flareon
Thunder:Jolteon
Legendary Pokemon:
There are only one of each of these Pokemon in the gain so capture them wisely.
#150 Mewtwo located in the Unknown Dungeon.

#146 Moltres located in Victory Road.
Other Rarities:#143 Snorlax
There are only two chances to capture Snorlax on the game officialy, so don't miss out when you see this Pokemon snoozing in the middle of your path!
#137 Porygon.You must use your winnings from the slot machines to buy porygon, and in any version it is going to cost you a pretty penny! Start saving up early!
