Name: Kadgie Rodo
Age: 22 Galactic Standard Years
Kadgie was born in a quiet town outside of Plaxton City on Caspar, to Corellian parents. Jesop and Shendra Rodo were from Corellia, and moved to Caspar to provide their children, three girls, including Kadgie, and one boy a safe and nurturing home. Kadgie would learn later on, that her parents were apart of a rebellion to overthrow the Diktat. When the rebellion became public, her parent's left Corellia fearing for their safety. Not much is known about her parent's past. Kadgie grew up in the quiet town, just like any other child, along with her brother Rand and sisters Almany and Carolyn.

She expressed an interest in being a doctor, following in her grandfather's footsteps, when she was very young. Her parents, noticing her ability decided, when she was 12, that in order for her to be an adequate doctor, she needed to experience and learn the universes' languages and cultures. Scared at the prospects of leaving her home to travel in the vast universe, Kadgie timidly accepted the decision. Not much is known about the earlier planets that she's visited. Corellia was a home for her for several years. On Corellia, Kadgie learned of her parents' past and knew she had to keep a low profile. One day, she was meeting a friend in a bar, when a rodian (she doesn't even remember his name) was stopped by an Imperial Stormtrooper. For no reason, the stormtrooper drew his blaster. Kadgie's instincts went wild and she sprung from her seat, completely oblivious to the fact that if her name was known, she could be put to death. She arrived in front of the Rodian, before the stormtrooper could shoot him. Seconds later, Kadgie was shot at point-blank range by the blaster bolt ment for the Rodian. She was near death when she arrived at the hospital and miracously, she lived and she learned that the other patrons in the bar killed the stormtrooper before he could report in. For her bravery, she was rewarded with the Corellian red bloodstripe. She returned home to Caspar after the incident to live a quiet life.
Upon arriving on Caspar, she learned that a new president had taken office. Kadgie admired the woman, who was formally a doctor. Avalyshaar Dusten became her role model, and she admired her from a far. One day while at the beach, Kadgie met a pirate named Jaeinn Blix. Jaeinn offered her the prospects of traveling, and Kadgie was tempted because her life had gotten boring. She took the job and worked as the doctor for Jaeinn's crew. Eventually she longed for home and returned. She took a job at Caspar's Medical Hospital under Dr. Tarquin. She liked the job, and he became a mentor for her. An opportunity soon showed itself, she was offered the position of Chief Surgeon of Kichnar Orbital Station and she accepted it while still remaining a member of Dr. Tarquin's staff. One sunny day, Kadgie was on the beach and she came across Darrien, who was afraid of the water. She felt that there was something she could do to help him over his fear. She pulled him into the water, and eventually he overcame his fear. This started a great friendship and Kadgie liked Darriens company. Kadgie met Darrien's soon to be wife, Dagny after the bombing. She returned home from Tatooine to learn that the fountain square had been bombed. She arrived too late to help the victims but she was there when Dagny was pulled out of the bacta tank. Little did she know, that Dagny would become a dear friend. Kadgie had many opportunities to meet her hero.
Most of the opportunities were under unfortunate circumstances. One such time was when Lyr Dunwell's clone was roaming Caspar. She appeared in the square when the clone started going mad. Things transpired that placed Lyre, Darrien, Avy and Kadgie in the hospital. Under Avy's orders, (although Kadgie will never admit it) Kadgie killed the clone. Her concious got the better of her and she threw herself into her work non-stop at a dangerous pace. Eventually, her dangerous pace caught up with her, and she slipped into a coma. During this time, Grei and Kadgie became close.
When the news of Dr. Tarquin's death reached her, she found herself the next in
line for the position of Chief Surgeon of Caspar. She arranged to have the hospital renamed to Dr. Tarquin Memorial Hospital. Another time Kadgie encountered Avy was when Sheltie fell into a fire. Kadgie happened to be there and immediately pulled her out of the fire and took her to the hospital. She performed plastic surgery and repaired Shelties body. Darrien confronted Kadgie with a problem. He had to build a device that would replace memory and he asked Kadgie if she would perform the surgery. She was apprehensive because she had never seen or done brain surgery of this type. She agreed and the surgery was successful. Soon after, she came to find Wiyaana making her home on the beach. Kadgie had met her during the hurricane that swept Caspar. She took Wiyaana into her home and her heart. Now, Wiyaana is her daughter, and Kadgie couldnt be any more happy about it. Kadgie served as one of Avys bridesmaids and she was very honored and thrilled to serve the position. She was glad to see her hero happy for once, and was glad she could help make it a reality.
