Welcome to Dark Haven Inn. Built by the Spider Dragon, this temple to bravery and valiance withstands the barrage of the elements, as well as hordes of evil creatures and sieges by wicked spell-casters. Standing on the frontier between the jungle and the grassy plains, this monumental building half carved, and half built into the stone cliff overlooking the ocean has a small waterfall flowing down one side.

The small pool and stream flow off into the forest of ancient trees and vines to the east. To the southwest a glimmering blue ocean can be seen in the distance. The road to town is easterly, and crosses a bridge over the creek to the west, in the forest. A wood-bark walkway lined by two tree-core tresses leads to the front door. The round, three-story building rises almost halfway up the cliff. You can see through the huge round windows on every floor that part of the waterfall has been diverted inside.

The main hall has two huge half-tree wooden tables with quarter-tree benches alongside. Spanning no less than six feet wide and forty feet long, these tables are almost as monumentous as the Inn itself. On the east wall is a cove with large stones arranged to make a fireplace. There is always fire here, and a small alcohol still is boiling there.

The cliff-side of this room is a bar and behind that a waterfall trickles into a shimmering blue-green pool that flows outside. Several bottles are floating in the pool or resting on the tresses of the waterfall.

On the west side of the bar is a stone staircase to the second floor, and west of that is the doorway into the kitchen. Nothing hangs on the walls, as much of the Inn has only recently been constructed.

The second floor is a large empty room with a set of giant windows across the front. The third floor is partitioned into sleeping quarters. The fourth floor is a balcony has a majestic view of the entire valley, from the edge of the mountains to the ocean, and off into the thick of the jungle. There are precipices here where gargoyles or statues may eventually stand, but they lie bare for now. There is a beautiful spot to jump from here into the pool at the base of the waterfall.
