Overview

The High Forest is home to the largest kingdom of wild or green elves in all of Aber-Toril. As such most characters coming from this wild nation of trees has in some way learned the elven teachings or has been in direct contact with their way of life. One quickly learns to live in accordance of nature, for the wild elves are quick to punish.

Description

Rustic men and women, all those who hail from the High Forest live with nature, and strive not against it. Thus it is no wonder that most bear elven blood, or are rangers and other nature loving professions. Warriors from the High Forest dress in clothing more in tune with that of druids, elves, or rangers. They favor light, but useful equipment, and long and short versions of both the bow and sword are commonly known among them all.

Role-playing

Warriors of the High Forest are very careful when it comes to hunting and/or using the resources about them. Most of them love nature in all its glory, yet even those who do not have a special respect of nature. Thus all of these people try to get along with the lands they travel to, keeping the nature folk happy and not aiming their vengeance upon them.

Special Benefits

Warriors of the High Forest gain the direction sense and endurance nonweapon proficiencies at no extra cost.

Special Disadvantages

Due to the hellacious acts against nature, all High Forest warriors gain a -2 reaction adjustment when dealing with enemies of the elves, like goblins and their ilk, who destroy the woods and care nothing for the lands around them.
