Calendar & Years
The calendar is made up of twelve months of thirty days each. This totals 360 days in the Nergalis year. Each lunar phase is thirty days as well. Lunar eclipses are greatly revered as a good omen since the full moon is blocked from view. Solar eclipses often go unnoticed by most.
Plant Life and Climate
Although the sun is black the climate of Nergalis is very similar to earth, and many of the plants remain the same having adapted very well to the darkness. They still utilize the dark light for food via photosynthesis. There are however, a great deal more carnivorous plants.
Planar Travel
While planar travel is possible it is no escape from Nergalis as all roads taken lead back to it.
The Moon and Mortis Stones
The moon, Caligos, is the only one of the planet. It is covered with a unique form of crystal that absorbs the solar energy and releases it in the form similar to that of a blacklight causing things to glow in the dark. Undead are strengthened by this release.
