On a daily basis she commonly carries the following spells: 1st--cantrip, burning hands, grease, spider climb, Tenser's floating disc 2nd--alter self, ESP, rope trick, spectral hand, web 3rd--blink, dispel magic, haste, lightning bolt, spectral force 4th--Evard's black tentacles, ice storm, fire shield, magic mirror, plant growth 5th--cone of cold, contact other plane, distance distortion, extension II, telekinesis 6th--antimagic shell, disintegrate, eyebite, globe of invulnerability, veil 7th--Drawmij's instant summons, duo-dimension, faerie sword, mass invisibility, prismatic spray 8th--binding, glassteel, prismatic wall, sink, Symkalr's friendly fireball*; 9th--foresight, Mystra's miasma, prismatic sphere, Symrustar's spellbinding.

Weapons of Proficiency: Staff, dagger, darts, sling, two-hander style.

Nonweapon Proficiencies: An indefinite number, including ancient history (Myth Drannor); ancient languages (several); animal lore; dancing; direction sense; etiquette; heraldry; healing; herbalism; local history (Myth Drannor); modern languages (several); reading/writing (any she can speak); religion (worship of Mystra); singing; spellcraft; swimming; tactics of magic; and tumbling.

Equipment: Standard adventuring gear; plus various scrolls and a half sized travelling spellbook.

Combat/Tactics: Symrustar is sly and quck of wit, thus she typically attacks and plots from afar. Although she was very valiant and destructive during the fall of Myth Drannor, having slain the Nycaloth leader, Malimshaer in single combat high above the battlefield.

Allies/Companions: Her family and Elminster, and later before her death, many magic hungery elves and other races.

Foes/Enemies: All those who would keep the Art secret from others and many others from her life of evil before becoming a Chosen.

Personality: Cool and calculating, Symrustar is gorgeous beyond comparison. With her looks and devious nature, she has seduced many wizards and stole their magic from their minds before destroying them. She had met her match with the human Elminster, however, and he won the day ruining her evil ways, and exposing her for what she truly was. Although Mystra saw goodness still within her as she sought purpose to her life. Offered the chance to repare her evil deeds with goodness as a Chosen, Symrustar accepted and helped to thwart plans to overthrow the Coronal of Cormanthyr!

Unique Abilities:

  • Spell Immunities: Symrustar is immune to burning hands, ESP, fireball, Evard's black tentacles, cloudkill, death spell, power word stun, Otto's irresistable dance, and power word kill.

  • Bonus Spells: In addition to her normal repertoire, Symrustar can cast read magic, ESP, fly, stoneskin, hold monster, Mordenkainen's lucubration, teleport without error, homunculus shield, and eye of Mystra each once per day without having to memorize them or use any of their components.
