Weapons of Proficiency: broad group blades, cleaving/crushing weapons, one weapon style, two-weapon style, two handed style, armor, long bow, scimitar (specialized).

Nonweapon Proficiencies: blind fighting, endurance, reading/writing, riding land-based (horse), swimming.

Equipment: Standard adventuring equipment.

Magical Items: Red armor of the hellfurnaces (plate mail +4, half damage from fire-based attacks, save for none; furthermore, any red dragon who sees the armor makes unusual efforts to kill the wearer), the wavy blade of doom: a long sword of wounding +3, a defender scimitar +4, a long bow of speed, a dragon shield +2/+3 vs. dragons (half damage from breath weapons, save for none), the fist guantlets (+1 damage when punching, piledriving blow costs wearer 1d2 hit points and shatters doors, armor, weapons, or shields. The target must save vs. crushing blow at -6, and causes 2d12 damage; this attack also stuns opponents on the following round (save vs. spells to negate), with an additional Strength check at -3 or be knocked down), boots of the north, and socks of dryness.

Combat/Tactics: Zak likes to run head long into battle yelling his battle cries to Tyr. He fights in many styles currently tho he favours his fist guantlets and seeing panic in there eyes as he destroys armor and shields with piledriving shots.

Allies/Companians: Zeke, his twin brother; Arkon Zutat, their business partner; Tannus Blade; the Dalesmen Adventuring company and now the Golden Enclave.

The Dalesmen Adventuring company Active roster currently includes: Thorfinn Skullsplitter the eye of the law (C8), Austin Silverymane (F4, archer), Thorginoff Ironcarver (F3), Jarl Elricson (F7).

Foes/Enemies: Tyranthraxus, church of Bane (now mostly defunct), Church of Moander (dead god), Most of Zhentil keep, mainly the black network.

Appearance: Zak stands 6' 1" and weighs 200 pounds of solid muscled, with black hair and brown eyes. He appears much like a typical knight. Zak always wears his red dragon plate mail and has his swords at his side at all times. He looks ready for a fight in any instance. Zak is always well groomed, as befits a knight. His mannerisms often give away his paladin past, even though he has left that livelihood many years past.

Personality: Zak still has very much a paladins attitude. He is very helpful and polite to everyone. He is also quick to action. There are many tales of Zak running into overwhelming odds such as at the temple of bane in new phlan with no more reason then its evil and its there.

Locales Frequented: All over the Realms, particularily the North, the Dalelands and the Western Heartlands.

Brief History: Zak and Zeke are twin brothers from the farming community of Shadowdale. Zak started life following the teachings of Tyr by becoming one of his paladins. He quickly learned that often laws must be broken to protect the weak and innocent and later abandonned the life of a paladin, however he is still a devoted follower of Tyr. Zeke chose the ways of the Art. Quickly finishing his apprenticeship he set out with Zak for the life of adventurers. The two travelled to Phlan were they started the Dalesmen adventuring company. Through many adventures the two along with members of the dalesmen whose roster once included the transmuter of great renown Arkon Zutat they twice defeated Tyranthraxus and the god Moander. The Dalesmen then established there base of operations in Suzaile where Zak and Zeke signed on as honourary members of the Purple Dragons. They are always encountered together.

After disappearing off the face of Faerun for two years the two recently resurfaced in Suzail and making contact with there old friend Arkon Zutat and through him the Golden Enclave.

Motivations/Goals: To live and acquire more wealth and see to his fine Silver Shanty in Suzail.

Campaign Uses: A great warrior, Zak fights the good fight; although now he need not be hindered with the code of the paladin, nor thier righteous weaknesses. He can be found wherever he is needed and is a great dragon slayer.
