News Updates:

<12/9/05>

After some reworking of schedules, Rhizdii Entertainment is back on track. We have set up a tentative schedule to work on various projects during the next few weeks. While it seems unlikely that we will reach our original goal of completing five games by the end of the year, it looks promising that several of our games will be nearing completion by that time.

After some reworking, one of our more overlooked titles is finally on track. The game has been redesigned from top to bottom and is coming along incredibly fast now. We are looking at producing a full prototype of this game within the next few days.

The staff of Rhizdii Entertainment attended GenCon SoCal, but we were greatly dissapointed by the size of the event. The dealer's area was quite small, and many of the major game companies didn't seem to have much to show off. We browsed around, and were able to purchase a large quantity of dice so as to be able to continue developing more games.

We have another game in the works. We're hoping for this one to be a somewhat involved strategy game that also is relatively small. The Dice Wars rules are being updated once more, so as to be simpler and more coherent. Other than that, not much has been going on.

The lack of updates is primarily due to the extensive work schedules of our staff. However, Rhizdii Entertainment is still diligently working on several projects.
Dice Wars is being being bundled together in a larger game package. Reactor (Formerly Chain Game) is nearing completion and is in play-testing currently. The Machine is also nearly complete, though some reworking of game mechanics is needed.

A few new projects have been started up as well. While we won't release much info on those games at this moment, there are two pirate games in the works as well as several other card and board games. A few more dice games are currently being devised as well. Unfortunately our free games section has been pushed back a little in favor of completing more of our headliner projects.

Most of the site is up and running now, though there are temporary graphics still around and the store is not yet up. However, many games are being diligently worked on constantly. We've got probably about 4-5 new games in the works, and our goal of getting five games finished by the end of the year is drawing nearer.

In addition to the normal games that we will be selling on the site, we are in the works on a free game section. Occasionally we come up with games that are simple and fun, but are so simple in the pieces or in the game play that we decide it might just be better to let the people have them for free. Expect to see that section up and running when more of those games are finished.

The portable games page is finally up and running. With the layout for that page finally decided upon, you can expect to see the tabletop games page finished before too long as well. The individual game pages should follow shortly after that, but unfortunately that requires a lot of detailed work and since many of the games here aren't 100% finished yet, not all of their details are available for viewing.

As of right now, most of the site is complete and up. The main page has been altered so that it is now compliant with both IE and Firefox. All of the sub pages do have background images, and many of the graphics for the site are now up. This is still a work in progress, but it is coming along nicely.

Rhizdii Entertainment is heading in a new direction, and to kick off this start we have a brand new layout. This new design is going to be much more interactive than anything thus far, and hopefully it will let you all get a better idea of what we're all about here at Rhizdii Entertainment.
