Sailor Satun/Hotaru Tomoe/Mistress9 Hotaru Tomoe is Sailor Saturn the senshi of death,rebirth and destruction She is very quiet,mysterious and sad. She died in explosion in her father's lab when she was 6, Her father could not believe his only child,The firefly who lit up his life was gone.He said he would sell his soul to save her, An entity appeared before him and said that he could have his daughter's life in exhange for his services in making daimon eggs. 10 Years went by and Professor Tomoe went crackers,His daughter was returned to life but she is very weak and sickly,She has the power to heal wounds,But like the power of the wiccan,It comes back three fold. She has no friends as they think she is gross and weird. That is until she meets a little girl named Chibi-Usa,She is a kind girl with a nice big sister called Usagi who is around the same age as Hotaru.Unknown to Hotaru or her father who is the leader of the Death Busters who are in search of the three tailsmen that make up the holy grail,Hotaru has an entity named Mistress 9 who wants to silence the world,Inside her body.The Death Busters feed Hotaru Chibi-Usa's heart crystal and Mistress 9 takes full control of Hotaru's body. Mistress 9 then summons Master Pharoah 90 to "silence" the world. The senshi heal professor tomoe and they all try to convince Hotaru to think of the things she loves,She tries so hard and destorys Mistress 9,Hotaru is Sailor Saturn and as Saturn says she has created this mess and must clean it up,She grabs her glaive and says "DEATH REBORN REVOLUTION" The attack that will destroy the world, The other senshi plead with her until she stops the attack and goes to fight Master Pharoah 90,Alone.She doesn't stand a chance, But only Super SailorMoon can help her,But Sailormoon lost the grail which turned her into Super Sailormoon,So she can't. But in a great show of power she uses her love to turn into Super Sailormoon and goes to help Saturn.There is a huge explosion and Sailormoon returns holding a baby-version of Hotaru. The next time Hotaru is seen she is a baby in Sailor Stars,She is taken form her father by Setsuana,And when Setsuana returns to the past she sees Sailors Uranus and Neptune in trouble and henshins to help them, She leaves the baby alone in her blanket while she goes to fight Neherenia's Mirror Youmas,One paticularly nasty one tries to kill baby Hotaru (This scene is a classic) The baby smiles and goos,Before the sign of Saturn shoots out and kills the youmas,And then Hotaru is a child who powers up the outer senshi making them,And herself Super Sailors. Probably the best Sailor Saturn scene and moment in the anime is when Chibi-Moon is fading and Saturn is facing Neherenia,Who dares her to unleash her power of destruction,Saying that Saturn doesn't have the guts to destroy everything,Saturn starts the fume and says it is her destiny then destroys half of Neherenia's huge castle with "SILENCE GLAIVE SURPRISE!" (That is a classic too) Sailor Saturn is very special,She is IMHO The most powerful of all the senshi (Even Sailor Moon can't end the world)But as she only appears once every blue moon (I think in the anime it is like in 10 episodes) ,It's a shame to see such a beauftiul and frail character wasted. ^_^ Saturn (Nearly all this information is based on the anime,Not manga if I got anything wrong suing me won't help,Trust me my idea of money is a dime) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
