Midnight. The moon has risen high up into the blackened sky and illuminates the dark world. As a cloud passes in front of the moon, shadows cover the streets; something is wrong. There is a strange sensation riding the wind this night, a fear which envelopes the land. A heavy mist is creeping over the ground. Slowly. It disappears without warning, and all seems right again; the fear, however, grips relentlessly. Silence pierces the night, not even a cricket chirps. There is a scream. It shatters the silence the world has lapsed into. The fear is at its climax now. Sharp and shrill, the scream plunges into the night. Suddenly, it is gone. Over in a second, and there is silence once again. The fear dissolves. The evil has done its work this night. Peace returns to the land, waiting only to be broken by the next scream, and the fear shall begin once more.
