The Watcher: 13
 
your journey here
 
you walk down a long hallway, hoping to go home.
instead, you come apon a dead end. turn around to
go back the way you came and see a door there. a
door you're sure wasn't there a second before. there
is an inscription on it. you lean closer so that you
can read it. it says:
THE WATCHER: 13
curious to find out what that means, you push open
the door and find yourself in front of something you know can't be true...
 
the dragon greets you. "you have entered the
watcher's room. actually, not THE watcher. the 13th.
but let's not go into that. all the rivalry, the
fighting to be the first, the one and only... it's
just not fun! so, where have you come from? earth?
we haven't had one of you creatures down here for
quite a while! so hello! hello indeed!"
you look around you, wondering where the voice is
coming from.
"oh, my voice comes and goes wherever it pleases.
just as i do. quite a nice relationship, no rules,
no fighting over where to go. we just work together.
no hustle and bustle. oh, listen to me! babbling on
like i often do. your turn. you may speak. oh come
on now! i haven't got all day! ask me questions!
