As part of one of the mayor's dastardly plans, he gets the adults hooked on some candy spiked with some substance that makes them act like irresponsible teenagers again. To do so, Mr. Trick inlists the help of Ethan Rain, who is more than happy to do his part. Once again, we get to see Giles wild side and this time he brings Buffy's mom Joyce along for the ride. Giles and Joyce are bad in this episode and do some shameful things. Things that will gross Buffy out forever. With the adults attention averted the mayor attempts to make an offering to a demon. Xander and Willow are still carrying on their little affair.
