The Borg Collective has many spacecraft, ranging from their scout ships to the huge Borg Queen's central cube. These ships are immensely powerful and almost impossible to destroy.
The following describes each different type of vessel.
Assimilation Cube
The Borg Cube     The Borg Assimilation Cube is the standard spacecraft of the Borg fleet. Utilizing a decentralized command structure the ship is able to effectively function even if up to seventy-five percent has been disabled or destroyed, there is no bridge, main engineering area, or other individualistic sections. A cube carries around 20,500 Borg.
The standard cube is roughly eight-to-nine hundred meters across, with a slightly larger version carrying a physical form of the Borg Queen.
A cube has many powerful weapons - a cutting beam style weapon, a disruptor-like energy bolt, a projectile weapon - possibly a torpedo of some kind - and a tractor beam which can not only hold a ship in place, but is also able to act as a broader cutting beam. The ship's defences include shields and heavily armoured hull material, but the shields can only function effectively after a weapon has been adapted to - otherwise the weapon simply passes straight through. Borg vessels also have the unique ability to self repair any damage practically as soon as it has been inflicted, giving them the capabilities to remain in a fight for much longer than other ships whilst only sustaining minimal damage.
Borg propulsion systems are known to include - as most spacecraft have - manoeuvring thrusters, impulse drive and a warp drive. However, Borg ships also have a transwarp drive onboard, allowing them to utilize advanced transwarp networks through subspace. This advantage allows them to traverse great distances within a short period of time and was the primary reason that Starfleet forces were not ready for the Borg when they invaded Federation space in 2366.

Borg Sphere
The Borg Sphere     The Borg Sphere has only ever been reported once - during the second Borg invasion of the Federation - however, more may exist. It is much smaller than other Borg ships and is able to be housed within an Assimilation cube. One of these vessels was used by the Borg Queen to escape the destruction of her cube and travel back in time to the 21st century to assimilate Earth. It is probable that only one of these types of ship was able to emit the necessary chronoton field needed to traverse time.
This ship's defences are very limited. Possesing an energy pulse weapon and minor hull armour, this class of ship was destroyed easily at one engagement by four Starfleet quantum torpedoes.

Rogue Borg Ship
Rogue Borg Ship     The rogue Borg ship was used by the individual drones led by the android, Lore. Although not a usual Borg design it was still equipped with standard Borg weapons and defensive capabilities. When engaged by the Federation Starship Enterprise it suffered no damage at the hands of phasers or photon torpedoes, but was able to heavily damage the Enterprise's shields. The rogue ship displayed the first undoubtable proof that the Borg use transwarp drive units aboard their ships, by utilizing transwarp conduits to move between distant star systems.
When the Borg were designing the nano-weapon for use against Species 8472 they originally planned to use a multikinetic-nuetronic mine to deliver the destructive nanites. The mine's dimensions were similar to that of the rogue vessel.

Scout Ship
Borg Scout Ship     Borg scout vessels are much smaller than cubes, with a mass of only two-point-five million metric tons. They are used primarily for reconnaissance and rescue missions by the collective - not having the necessary size and power to begin a culture's complete assimilation. Once a scout ship has located a new, assimilatable, race, then it moves on and an assimilation ship is despatched.
One of these ships crashed in the Argolis cluster in 2368. The only survivor - a drone designated Three of Five - was later picked up by a similar craft.
