My main reason for doing this site was so it could be used as information resources on profiled Mass Murderers. Featured on this site is some of the worlds worst Serial Killers and Mass Killers who committed the worst crime of all: Mass Murder. All of the murderers featured on this site have killed a substantial amount (more than 10+) of people.

The word "Mass Murder" is attributed by both Serial Killers and Mass Killers, not just Mass Killers, the act of killing a large amount (usually more than 2) of people including serial killers is an act of Mass Murder.

But due the never ending mass murders being committed I have decided to dedicate my site to murderers who have claimed more than ten lives. It is impossible to write about all but I hope you find my information useful.

Mass Killers usually attack schools, universities and restaurants believing it to be a place for a maximum kill effect, usually striking with a semi-automatic gun and wearing camouflage gear, they attempt to kill all they see and their rampage usually ends with them committing suicide or being killed/captured by police.

Serial Killers are different. They can usually go up to years without being caught and when they are caught its usually by the weight of evidence against them, or sometimes they can get caught by chance like the Yorkshire Ripper. They prefer to stab or strangle their victims and sometimes shoot them like David Berkowitz. They sometimes collect trophies or leave trademarks of their crimes. Some Serial Killers prefer to rape their victims before they kill them, like Ted Bundy or Dean Corll.

The reason why such people murder isn’t quite known, is it a history of mental illness or abuse when they were young? Ted Bundy said pornography was what made him rape and kill but some say this was an excuse to lead him away from the death penalty even though he did get executed. Edmund Kemper had a history of mental illness, even shot his grandparents when he was young, released later from psychiatric prison to then kill 6 coeds.

The USA, with around 6% of the worlds population, spawns more than three quarters of all serial killers, and records confirm a staggering increase. Between 1900 and 1959, each year would produce on average, 1.7 new cases. Through the 1960’s the figure grew to five a year, and by 1980 it had tripled. By 1990, it was 36 per year - which averages out to three a month, and represents a rise of 940% in the space of just three decades. The FBI have estimated that, by the millennium, serial murders could be claiming an average of 11 lives a day.

- 84% of American killers are Caucasian

- 16% of American killers are black

- Men make up at least 90% of Serial Killers

- Yet 65% of victims are female

- 89% of victims are white

- 44% of all killers start in their twenties

- 26% of all killers start in their teens

- And 24% of all killers start in their thirties

- Out of all killers, 86% are heterosexual
