DUNK MEGAPHONE SERIES
Concept: Aggressive tip size with modern canister design
Characteristics: Mid to High end Power
Comments: The Original trend setting DUNK inspired earlier versions of the ID (international DUNK) and countless "knockoff copies." The canister and tip are both constructed of a polished SUS 304 stainless steel and the piping is treated in a titanium particle based high temperature paint to prevent high temperature cracking. Despite the 130mm tip, the exhaust actually looks smaller from the rear view due to the rounded 200mm canister. This allows you to hide the full potential of your vehicle performance. The high level of finish, 130mm tip size, and real HP increase all keep the DUNK one step ahead.

SUPER MEGAPHONE
Concept: Original Single Tip Exhaust in Japan
Characteristics: Mid Range Torque
Comments: The Super Megaphone Exhaust System was the original single tip exhaust in Japan. It paved the way for the current single tip market and defined the sports muffler segment. The canister and tip of the Super Megaphone is constructed from a SUS 304 polished stainless steel. The tip measures II 5mm in diameter and has the logo stamped in the edge.

DUNK 115 SERIES
Concept: Intimidating looks, and dyno proven HP gains
Characteristics: mid to high end power
Comments: The DUNK 115 Series was designed especially for U.S. spec vehicles that differed from their Japanese counterparts ion engine design and catalytic converter placement. The DUNK 115 Series are all made to U.S. market demands with full 60mm piping and a straight through canister design. The 200mm SUS 304 Stainless Steel canister also allows for ample ground clearance. The tip is also constructed of a polished GUS 304 stainless steel. Piping is treated in a high temperature titanium particle based paint. All of the DUNK 115's have a 115mm-tip size, which allows the user to use our SUPER SILENCER for an extra 7 dB of sound deadening. All exhaust systems conform to the 95dB limit and do not modify any emissions equipment.

Comments: The RS Exhaust is designed to achieve high-end power while preventing excessive noise levels commonly associated with similar exhaust systems. The canister and tip is constructed out of a polished SUS 304 stainless steel. Tip sizes differ according to engine specification and are available in 105mm for N/A cars and 120mm for turbo cars.

N1 SERIES

Characteristics: High End Power
Comments: The angled muffler. A'PEX was the first to produce this type of muffler style on a manufacturing basis in Japan. A'PEX has continued to pioneer new and more efficient ways of making exhaust systems from day 1. Engineered from feedback data of our N-1 series racecar, the N-1 stands as the SECOND benchmark exhaust system from A'PEX. In an N-1 Endurance Race, efficiency is everything. That is why all of the N-1 exhaust pipes aim for the straightest possible line with the least number of pipe bends. This allows exhaust gases to pass smoothly through the piping. The exhaust system canister is made of a rugged SUS 304 Stainless steel and features a 115-mm tail. The canister projects from the car at an angle, which also contributes to smooth flowing exhaust. Because all of the exhausts are straight through design, throttle response and horsepower levels are improved. The N-1 Series Exhaust is available for both NA (Normally aspirated) and Turbo-charged vehicles.

N1 DUAL
Concept: Retain the same peak HP of the single N- I while improving mid range torque
Characteristics: Mid to High End Power
Comments: The N-1 Dual is a variant of the smash hit N-1 single. The Dual N-1 splits into two small diameter pipes that flow into two 120mm canisters with two 90mm tips at the end. The Dual pipe configuration starts right after the catalytic converter with computer aided pipe bends and clearance adjustments. The Dual N- I achieves greater power than the single N-1 because federal regulations prevent the single N-1 piping diameter from being excessively big. This means that the dual pipe design of the Dual N-1 flows more volume of exhaust than a single pipe could while retaining more mid range torque at same peak HP. As with the single N-1, the Dual N-1 canisters and tip are constructed of a SUS 304 polished stainless steel while piping Is treated to a titanium particle based high temperature paint.

GT SPEC SERIES
Concept: Ultimate muffler balancing power and style
Characteristics: High-end power, includes silencer
Comments: The GT exhaust represents the flagship lineup of exhaust systems from A'PEX. The GT Series utilizes a polished stainless steel piping for the pies and canister. The GT series incorporates 95mm piping (3.74 inches) for maximum power (some vehicles.) A'PEX is the only company In Japan to own and operate a 95mm mandrel pipe bender at this time of press. Piping for the GT series minimizes the degree of bends. Canisters project at an angle like the N-1.

SUPER SILENCER
Concept: Easy and effective way to lower sound output from muffler for street use
Characteristics: Lower sound decibel output by 7 dB, increase mid range torque for Street uses
Comments: The Super Silencer is the most effective way to lower sound output from an exhaust system without sacrificing high end power. The Silencer has also been shown to increase mid range torque in some vehicles. The Silencer will lower average output muffler sound by approx. 7 dB. Available for mufflers utilizing a 115-mm tip.

SUPER INTAKE
Concept: Air filter with least amount of turbulence
Characteristics: Dual stainless steel funnels to direct intake air smoothly into the throttle body
Comments: The A'PEX Super intake is the premier air filter system using a dual funnel technology. The air filter is made of an unrestricted race quality element and has one funnel at the top of the filter and one funnel at the base.

A'PEX engineers noticed in tests that when the vehicle sucked in air from the side, an area of wind turbulence occurs in the middle of the filter. To cure this problem, a funnel at the top of the filter was added to channel the air down to the base of the filter. A separate funnel at the base of the filter ensured the smooth transition of air form the atmosphere into the intake pipe.

Both funnels are constructed of a high quality polished SUS 304 stainless steel and the craftsmanship only found in A'PEX products.

HYBRID INTERCOOLER
Concept: To create the ultimate front mount intercooler with exceptional cooling capabilities
Characteristics: Unique delta fin face, ultra low-pressure drop
Comments: The Hybrid Inter-cooler Series uses an exclusive cross flow design on all the cores. These cores are the only cores designed specifically for front mounting. The front of the core uses a delta fin typeface with two different types of fins. The fins at the base of the delta wedge are tightly packed while the fins at the top of the delta wedge are loosely packed. This allows the channeled airflow at the base of the delta wedge to cool more air while the loosely packed fins on top prevent any unnecessary wind turbulence.

Because of it's purpose built front mount design, all the fins are extended to the same length at the rear of the intercooler. This allows the air to pass through without causing wind turbulence in the rear of the intercooler and cool the remaining radiator and engine. The GT Series incorporates the same technology but adds a new dimension of performance with its thicker core sizes.

TWIN CHAMBER BLOW OFF VALVE
Concept: Adjustable sound, quick response, and fashionable blow off valve
Characteristics: Two-chambered body using an assisting vacuum hose
Comments: The APEX Twin Chamber Blow Off Valve incorporates a revolutionary design in boost pressure release systems. Blow Off valves allows built up boost pressures to escape into the atmosphere when the engine is no longer under load. This prevents the pressure from backing up into the turbine compressor housing, causing it to rapidly stop, and causing potentially destructive damage to the turbo. The blow off valve is also adjustable to allow desired amounts of boost response between shifts. Unlike conventional single chambered blow off valves, the Twin Chamber Blow Off Valve uses two separate chambers with an assisting pressure hose. This design allows for a short and highly sensitive spring in the first chamber that controls a piston and a valve in the secondary chamber. The result, quicker valve response under low AND high boost pressures.

The blow off valve also gives the user the ability to adjust the blow off sound. By turning a disk near the base of the unit, the exhaust gas release volume can be adjusted to normal, loud, and extra loud.
