Look what I picked up!
My Slogan:
Enforcement for SAFETY,
NOT for revenue
I would like to apologize for not returning E-mails or responding to comments on the site for the last several months. I have been off of it for several reasons and never got around to updating it. If you needed advice and didn't get it, or had a question and it wasn't answered, again, I apologize.

Welcome to my world! This is not some starchy, holier than thou, I know it all web site. I'm just a plain ole cop that likes Traffic stuff and won't fill your head with a bunch of mystical magical mumbo jumbo. So if this is not as slick and polished as some other sites you've visited, that's the way it's supposed to be.
Plain talk for plain folk.
Thanks,
Keith

Got a question? Click the tire
Get a ticket?
Have an accident?
Got questions?
Confused?
You've come to the right place!
My name is Keith Underwood. I'm a Police Sergeant for a mid-size agency near Los Angeles, CA. The agency's name is immaterial, at least for now. In the past I would have been proud to name it; I'm still proud to work there and I'm proud of being a cop. Unfortunately, given our current state of affairs in this country, I am sometimes hesitant to reveal my agency on the 'net. I might offend somebody with a response or an opinion, thereby bringing grief upon me or my Department. I am currently assigned as a Patrol Sergeant, but for nearly five years ran our Traffic Bureau, hence the "Trfcsgt" screen name (Some refer to it as "Terrific Sergeant", but that's another story.) That is, until a new Patrol Captain decided traffic was relatively unimportant, basically disbanding the unit.
As far back as I can recall, my main interest has been in traffic related law enforcement. I specialize in accident investigations and reconstructions as well as the enforcement side.
The purpose of this site is NOT to get you out of a ticket because the officer wrote your hair as brown when it is actually blonde, nor defend you when the officer writes two zeroes in the "19__" box and forgets to cross out the "19". These are, plain and simple, lame excuses for trying to shirk responsibility and get out from under a ticket.
The purpose of this site IS to help educate, provide information and answers to serious questions, and perhaps give you a defense if you WERE unjustly cited. It does happen; we're all human and make mistakes.
But usually regular motorists... Photos
We hope you're not as bored as we are!
