Hello, my name is James Budd I am fifteen live in england and I vey am interested in RS coworths. This page contains all cosworths from sierra 3dr to the currant focus concept, rally cossie's and specs of all cars. Some other cosworths have been produced like escort vans puma's and cougars. Ford RS Cosworth 3dr-1986

The first cossie to hit the public roads and conquer them, they hold thier value and will always make people in the street stop and stare at these awesome cars! They will always be a great ford classic that there owners will cheerish and last along time because thay are so well looked after, I see quite alot of these cars around near my home and I have never ever seen a spec of rust on one even in the most erlier modles, I idol owners of these cars, and if any of you are reading this I am dead gelous!

Ford RS500 Cosworth-1987

After the standard 3dr cossie came this beast, the 500 version with more power, bigger skirts, and a larger wing owners of the standard car would get down on thier knees and weep! to right! Now there was only 500 of these cars made and since I have been on the planet wich is nearly sixteen years now I have seen one, which for my liking is in a word, well its perthetic . Still as I followed it out of the supermarket car park I could here that sweet engine ready to birst into life, and when the road cleared and the RS500 pooled out with a huge roar of that 2 lire engine and a loud splash of the turbo dump valve as it headed towards the roundabout, WOW!

Ford Sierra Saphire RS Cosworth-

The last of the sierra cosworths in the form of a 4dr salloon modle, these can still make people impressed and are easy to find compared to other cossies. The Saphire as it is named is a fast family car not that you buy one for that reason anyway but is the most practical out of the cossie family. Many people say this is the dulest, the most plain but for me it is pure art and a great drive wich out classes in my opinion all cars in its class even by todays standards, and that is a very good achivement!

Ford Escort RS Cosworth-

The Sierra had been replaced by the mondeo and since the closest we have got to a cossie is the ST200 wich is still a good piece of kit but is not the legend wich does not have the vents or the large whale tale wich makes these cars so special. So ford simpley fitted the skirts to the escort an a new cossie was born! The escort Cosworth out lines that every now and again as privious owner Jeremy Clarkson once said Ford stops making run of the mill cars and goes completly Bonkers! wich is the reason I love this car so much!

Ford Focus RS Cosworth-2000

Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz & Marcos Radstrom are the 3 guys who have got the chance to drive the Focus WRC around the rallies of the world and will probably take the wheel of this new road version first well not Radstrom of Course. This beast on wich is based on Colins car looks set for production in late 2000 at an estimated price of �25,000 so get saving those of you who want one! I must admit when I heard that Ford where doing this project in the front of the only car magazine Top Gear I jumped for joy because it might just mean that one day when I have matured and can aford the insurance and the car I could just have one sitting on my drive being admired by kids like me in the futre, Still, it is important to have a dream!
