Minor Computer Tune-Up!
How to purge the cache... or, what's the first thing to do when your computer slows down. How much surfing you do determines how often you should delete the Internet files stored in your computer. It's not uncommon to find over 5000 files in the Temporary Internet Files folder. The following instructions are for Internet Explorer only.

1. Whichever way you get to Internet Options: Start > Settings > Control Panel, or
2. Click "Tools" on the Internet Explorer Menu Bar to open the following
3. Drop-Down Menu
4. and Internet Options

5. Simply click Delete Files and Clear History (in either order)


6. to open the "Pop-Ups"to Delete all the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder, and

7. Delete all items in your History folder.
