Our MissionThe Mongiello family name is a name from the country of Italy. It's introduction to the United States occurred as early as 1903. Mongiello's began migrating rapidly in the 1900's and now live all over the world. Numerous records may reveal an introduction to North America as hundreds of years earlier. The family success story, and success of the name, now spans internationally into the areas of law, international business, banking, universities, the priesthood, cookery, television, radio, baseball, Hollywood, manufacturing, public service, art, government service, politics, service to Kings, Queens, Presidents and Prime Ministers as well as the raising of children and family under the heritage of Italian customs. Success, while often measured by deed or riches alone, is not a total indicator within life. The Mongiello of today who is simply working and giving to his and her community is successful and filled with the riches of the name and personal, local family. Still, in the migration as common peasants to America (and often carrying $12.00 US Dollars only and a single suitcase) the family name has born forth a fruit of gifts and other successes that are quite uncommon. Whether serving the community for non-profit fund raising, being a municipal prosecutor, working in the White House or as the Executive Chef at Camp David, being a famous artist throughout the Southwest of America, making movies and acting in Hollywood, playing minor league baseball, running for congress, teaching at major colleges and universities, authoring numerous books, working as a famous attorney for 64 years or running the busy law firms of today, operating several multi-million dollar corporations or in service as a priest and Monsignor in the upper level of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy - these are all things done and/or being done today by Mongiello's. Our mission is to tell this story in a non-profit setting, for the world to see and share with us. The subsequent release of a forth coming book and multi-media CD will also allow for the furthering of that mission.
