This site is a way for me to show off some off my interests. The main one being my 1998 Honda VTR1000F also known as a Superhawk in the United States and the Firestorm everywhere else.
Modifications to the bike include:
A custom made fiberglass and carbon fiber full fairing from Italy.
J&E 11.5:1 compression ratio pistons
Erion Racing cams with 11.391mm of Intake valve lift (stock is 10.390mm) and 10.770mm of exhaust valve lift (stock is 10.100). Stock valve springs are used with these but the cams required a modification to the camshaft holder, details and pictures can be found under the performance section.
Stock main jets have been drilled out and .060inch shims have been added under the stock needles. Though I do seem to be running slightly lean now that I am in Germany (elevation 300ft), compared to in El Paso, Texas (elevation 3600ft).
D&D Polished aluminum slip-ons.
K&N drop in air filter.
Carbon Fiber tank protector.
Trimmed rear fender and incorporated the license plate light into the brake/taillight housing.
Lockhart Phillips Type III amber turn signals in the front. (On Order in the mail).
Removed/Disabled the P.A.I.R. (Pulse Air Injection Reaction System).
Blocked and rerouted the carb heater coolant lines.
