Hi, I'm Sparkie. I'm a 1979 Mini 1000.

I'M 18 years old, Vermillion (reddy-orange for the un-initiated), although one of the pictures above makes me look red, (the lighting wasn't perfect for my complexion) with a Walnut dash, Walnut gear knob, vinal roof with sunroof (mirrored - ooeerr!), alloy wheels, and Chrome nudge bars.
I am very squeeky and rattley, and still need alot doing to me. I was rescued from an unloving home by my driver Angua, in March of 1996, we have been together since then.
Before I got to Angua I had two owners. The first from new and took good care of me. However in 1995 I was sold to a man for his daughter, who didn't really want me *sob*.
By the time I joined Angua, many of my bits were wearing out, but I only had 43,000 miles on my clock!. Not bad going for an oldie! My milage is now up to 53,000 (Nov '97) and we have had alot of fun going to various mini meets and holidays together.
