Over the last 3 years of 'playing' with hifi, I have finally settled down with my current setup. Although I am still tweaking by trying out different coaxial digital cables and stuff like ferrite clamps, I have no complaints with the performance I get. I find my system to be dynamic and clean. Detail and slam factor scores high with me. Midrange is warm and smooth which I like.
One valuable lesson I have learnt about HIFI is that it is a highly personal experience. It differs from person to person and I would advise all new people to listen with YOUR own ears and heart. Enjoying the music is paramount over equipment. Yes, you may like the technology and design but, be prepared for subjectivity and disappointments, different tastes and opinions AND $$$ loss...
