  My own MGF

Seventy years after the introduction of the first MG, MG catches our attention again. Rover kept using the name during the years for their more sportive versions of the Metro, Maestro and Montego, but no one took that one serious. The first step was the introduction of the well-known MG RV8, a two-seater based on the MGB. Only two thousand cars were build, but a clear message was sent: "MG is back in business". The people of Cowly were already working for a long time, but we saw the PR3 project for the first time at the Carshow of Geneva in 1995.

The new  two-seater, called MGF, could wear the octagan proudly. Not only its design (thanks to Pininfarina, who styled the softtop) made of it a special car, but also its mechanics: a roadster with rear traction, a mid-mounted engine and four hydrogas suspensions is a combination not very often seen on todays road.
