Welcome to my Homepage! This page is dedeciated to Holdens and only Holdens. There are picture

I must say thank you to the Victorian EH Car Club for the photos of some of the members EJ and EH cars.

The History of Holden

Holden started on a very low budget as a one man saddlery business, it moved into carriage building,
then in 1948 became the first company to succesfully mass-produce a car in Australia. The name of
the company that started as JA Holden and Co, then to Holden and Birk, back to JA Holden and Co,
then changed to JA Holden and Son, Holden and Frost, then Holden's Motor Body Builders Ltd,
General Motors-Holden's and in 1986 changed to Holden Motor Company. Then finally decided
to go with General Motors-Holden's Ltd in 1988.
