These old warhorses have inspired our musicians in their sheds and around the globe. Sure they are using Trace Elliotts or hi-tech mosfet amps now but there is still something about the sound not to mention the smell of a valve amp being driven into distortion.....strong odour of nostalgia and either To get into the music and take a butchers at some old Aussie amps click on the Ace Sonata. |

When it comes to personal adornments and artifacts I am a sucker for the old and rusty/dusty. I am fortunate in living in the dry tropics most everything is dusty and as our seasonal wet has dumped well over 400 millimetres of rain on us in each of the last two seasons rust is looking good too. As they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and in my rummagings and ruminations I find things that are beautiful to me. Click on the Elgin watch for more nic nacs. |
