To the MAC users I like them but I couldn't afford them when I was out of work, I have not tested any MAC Software and I don't think I will.

I bought this Cam because it was cheap 59$ at *Frys in Santa Clara.I found it easy to set-up I use a BLACK BOX switcher it shares the printer outlet too. The picture is great always clear for a b/w and at that price well I couldn't find a better one.

There are 2 programs Cornnell* and Whitepine

The best! easy to set-up, easy to run, It ran on the 486 too. Cornell's has a white board, audio, I did find the video of others where good, If you run a b/w cam all look in b/w someone that had a colour Cam came in in b/w.One last thing its FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whitepine

This Program is 69$ So I tested the Demo, It worked great but shut down after 15 min "that sucked" it had reflector list that half seemed to work the Audio was good, Video was the same as Cornell's. If you got the money buy it

Netmeeting*

Try this one I use it lots has white board if you aren't into talking. Video is great, audio is fair connections to the Microsoft servers fair . The program is free, easy to set up I had troubles with it working on the 486 just not powerful enough. Looks like it will be included in WIN98. There is a multitude of people on the servers, General, Adult, almost anything you want.I like this Program its FREE!!!!

I tested this one I liked it. Easy to setup and configure.Video excellent Colour was great Audio was fair seemed a bit chopped,could have been my system . Down side there wasnt the people on the server like Netmeeting . There is a new version{3.1} its 19.99$ for the lite version the price is good, I would say try the demo and see for yourself

VDO Phone

I tested the Demo Version. The Video was good, Audio was good. The Set-up was a breeze, I did see other peoples colour cams pictures. It has a lot to offer genral, adult, etc. I joined a few differnt lists, my complaint was the fact I got a few calls from old gay guys thats not my thing, I was able to refuse there calls. I did talk to a real nice Grandma type from England, the first time I ran it she just wanted to tell someone about her grand kids giving her a computer.
