I've begun attending classes at California Lutheran University, studying for a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. I'll start a new page on my experiences shortly

This Website is for our family, friends, and acquaintances; those whom we love, and who love us. We'll add pictures, stories, and links to our favorite places as time and circumstances permit. We'll be including our neighbors, our hobbies, our jobs, our education, and lots of other things as we gather them together. If you have found your way here by accident, we hope you've enjoyed part of what we've done. If so, drop us a line here

GOOFBALLS

This picture was taken around 1970. The folks in the picture are, starting with the kneeling guys left to right, Tom Shannon, Steve Ladd, Mark London, Rick London, Loren Goetz, and your's truly, Rick Ladd. Loren was Best Man at a wedding, and we tried to dress as goofy as we could. This was in the heyday of double knits, plaid pants, and wide collars. I think I probably outgoofied everyone.

Less Goofy, But Still Kinda Goofy

This photo was taken during an open house where I work, Rocketdyne Propulsion & Power, a division of Boeing Space & Communications. I'm a member of the Turbomachinery Team, which makes the pumps used on the Space Shuttle Main Engine. There's a mockup of the Shuttle behind us. I don't even remember this guys name, and I'm not sure if he's flown yet. He was scheduled to be one of the Astronauts bringing up parts for the Space Station. Of course, that's about all the Shuttle is doing for the next couple of years until it (Station) is completed. When I find out his name, I'll put it in here.

MORE GOOFBALLS

This picture was taken just before the turn of the century; yeah, last December. It was a little gathering at the neighbors for Linda's birthday, among other things. I guess I haven't changed all that much since the picture taken 30 years ago, above. My clothing's a little more conservative, but the goofiness is still at least a little evident, no?
