I received several questions concerning GiPSi and Garmin GPS interoperability. I have sad message for Garmin GPS users. My GiPSi uses LSI 100 protocol implemented by Lowrance and it means that GiPSi doesn't work with Garmin's GPSes.

9.8.98 The DiskBench result page has been updated. The DiskBench results depend on the voltage of your battery as reported by Brian D. so please do your test with as fresh battery as possible.

I redesigned my web pages. It's first news. And second - I just published my new application called GiPSi V0.4. If you want to plan your trip with a GPS, you can use GiPSi and for example add needed waypoints more comfortably than from GPS keyboard.

You can use my PsiCam V0.9g to connect your Psion to Olympus Digital Camera. I have tested this application with Olympus Camedia 420L but users report that it works with the 820L as well. The sad news is that PsiCam dosn't work with newest models 840, 500, 600, 1400. The reason is the changed serial line protocol. There is company in Czech Republic that is coding C++ version of Camedia communication program that will be available comercially in near future and will cover all Camedia models.

Why don't you test your Compact Flash Card speed with DiskBench V1.1? I will compile all received results and publish CF Card speed comparation table on my web page. My very simple disk benchmark just writes 1024kB long file ten times to disk C: and then reads it back also ten times. Then it does the same test with the CF disk D: and calculates average values. Time values for disk C: should be the same or at least similar as mine and are published just for reference.
