Accomodations for Budget Travllers in a Friendly and Warm Atmosphere.
Located just off the beautiful Pictou Harbour in downtown Pictou, Nova
Scotia, vistors stay in dorm-style rooms with an average of four (4)
to six (6) beds per room seperated for Male
and Female occupants. A Family Dorm is also availble for those who
wish to have a private setting.
Operating in a large house built in 1848, Hostel-Pictou features original Hardwood Flooring and Cast-Iron Radiators. Truly making your stay at Hostel Pictou feel very warm, comfortable and relaxing. Anne MacIsaac, Owner and Operator, is a born and raised Pictou Citizen with vast knowledge of the towns history and current development. While staying at Hostel Pictou visitors may use the shared kitchen, reading room and two (2) washrooms. The kitchen offers complimentary coffee each morning while pots, pans and dishes are completely supplied for your use at no extra cost. Washrooms, Showers and Bathtubs are available for use at any time. Laundromat, Restaurants, Pubs, Corner Stores, Banks, Post Office and a large variety of Tourist Attractions are all closely located. Hostel Pictou is the only Hostel from Cape Breton Island to Halifax and is conveniently located a small ten (10) Minute drive from the Prince Edward Island Ferry and roughly two (2) Hours outside of Halifax.
