A Few Simple Thoughts
Communication is one of the most important parts of everyday human life. Everyday we use communication
to express feelings, opinions, knowledge or simply inquire about information or learn about other people and what
their life experiences. One of the most frequently used methods of communication is through the spoken word. Yet
is that all there is? Many people neglect the fact of writing or using other forms of communication. Many people
also limit their communication to a small number of people. Even though it is good to have a group of reliable
and trustworthy people to share thoughts with, there is always room for more. "The only way to learn about
ourselves is through others"
Over the last few years, especially with the vast global expansion of the internet, people have found new ways
to communicate. IRC or Internet Relay Chat has played a major role in expanding the number of people we communicate
with. At first IRC was only used by computer oriented people who wanted to be in the front lines of technological
advancements. Yet why should it be limited to the computer oriented? We all communicate this just implements a
new method of reaching out and gathering what others have to offer.
One of the main reasons for the establishment of this server was to get people together and to help them speak
to others in search of everything from ideas to opinions, and even toss in a twist of occasional humor. I hope
everyone finds this server as useful as I do. Thank you for taking the time to visit this web page. I hope that
some of what was said is helpful and will make you take a new more open view on communication and how important
it is to the human race and society as we know it.
The IRC is not always available. Since it is run off of personal computers,
we are currently unable to make it available all the time. So if you are having problems getting connected, it
is most likely the case that the server is not currently operational.
