My Background
I was born in a small town in Shan Bei, Northwest China, I spent my 18 years
at there. In 1986, I moved to Xian and studied at the
Physics Department of Northwest University, NWU
at there I got my B.S. degree. Since 1990, I begin my research work in
Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, LSL
Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences  CAS
I respectively got my M.S. and Ph. D degree in 1993 and 1996 at CAS.

Consecutively, I worked in CAS as a post doctoral researcher for about one year.
In Oct. 1997, I worked in Mechanical Engineering Laboratory  MEL, Japan, as a  STA  fellow.
In Oct. 1998, I moved to Germany, work in Institute of Physics, TU Ilmeuau as a AvH fellow.

My Interests
I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me
is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . .

   My interesting research  fields are:    My hobby is:
  • Microtribologyof HDI and MEMS
  • Microstructure and tribo-properties of materials
  • Prepartion of nano ceramic powder
  • Design and prepartion of self-lubricating ceramics
  • Classic music. MusicMusic 
  • I adore movies - especially classic film. 
  • Computer design
  • I'm an avid reader. Favorite books?
