MARSHALL AMP PAGE

This page is dedicated to the Marshall VS230 amplifier (below).

The VS230 is a dual channel, reverb, stereo chorus combo with two 30 watt speakers.

The guitar above is a Gibson Les Paul Standard very much like mine. Unfortunately, Because I can't get any of the digital cameras at work to work I can't put up actual pictures, so the above two pics are from catalogs and stuff like that.

I'm going to put up mp3s to show what sorts of sounds you can get out the Marshall. It's fairly flexible.

OVERDRIVE CHANNEL:

First up is the 'Sad but True' solo. 'Sad but True' is a sick song off the Metallica black album.

Sad But True (177 KB)

Next is a particularly bad take of 'Through the Never' solo with a few stuff ups. 'Through the Never' is yet another Metallica number.

Through the Never (177 KB)

REVERB:

The amp has an Accutronics Reverb which is unbelievable, and what better way to show it off than with Bon Jovis 'Bed of Roses' which features some excessive use of reverb.

Bed of Roses Intro (186KB), Bed of Roses Solo (167KB)

STEREO CHORUS:

I should do something with the Stereo chorus features that this amp has so you can hear it too, well l8r...

CLEAN CHANNEL:

Same goes for clean tone with or without chorus (again l8r)
