www.comptia.org COMPTIA- The people that make the A+ test. Check this out for specifics on the test. Also check out the changes in the test coming in late 2000. You might want to test soon before the changes take place.

http://www.nerdgirl.net/aplus.html - A great page with some "braindumps". When someone goes for the test, they e-mail any question they remember into the site. Be careful though, always verify the answers.
