- Finally the wait
is over! Gold and Silver have finally hit the stores and it will be big!
It is just like a better version of the original, because it still has
that Poke'mon feel, despite the fact that there are many new Poke'balls
and you have a cell phone, to receive calls from characters.
- The new Rocket series
is out! And one of the coolest features is the fact that all uncommon and
rare (I think) are called 'Dark'. Like Dark Rapidash and Dark Charmeleon.
They are called this because they are Poke'mon that Team Rocket have captured
and trained to be evil and bad. Another new feature is holographic energies!
The new packs are called Trouble and Devastion- taken from the infamous
Team Rocket motto.
- Another new
series is the Gym Leader series. Here all Poke'mon all property of a certain
trainer, like Brock's Rhydon and Blaine's Tauros. The Poke'mon don't nessecarily
belong to the trainer in the GameBoy game, like Brock only has Geodude
and Onix, they just have to either be the right element or suit the trainer.
The trainers are mostly based on the gym leaders, e.g. 'Misty's Duel'.

and rare Poke'mon in the original. . . .

GOLD/SILVER- The
new era. . .
Well there it is-
the new arrival. Gold and Silver. So here is some bare facts.
- The new Poke'balls
include: The Lure Ball, for Water Poke'mon, The Love Ball, for Poke'mon
of the opposite sex, the Heavy Ball, for heavy Poke'mon and the Speed Ball,
for fast Poke'mon.
- Poke'mon can be
played in real time. There is night and day, and some POke'mon only come
out at night, like Hoot-hoot, the owl Poke'mon.
- The Poke'mon now
always have a gender. In the original, only Nidoran and there evolved
forms had that. But now every Poke'mon has a gender. When you breed Poke'monyou
get a Poke'mon egg, and out of the egg (sometimes) comes a pre-evolved
Poke'mon, like Pichu or Elekid.
- In the Inventory
(item area) there is now a description of the item you are looking at.
- Some Poke'mon evolve-
like Slowbro into Slowking, of "I need pants" fame.
- When you trade a
Poke'mon that has evolved from a original Poke'mon, e.g. Slowking into
the original from Gold it will de-evolve. And when yoiu trade over a new
Poke'mon like Marril, the Poke'dex will not be updated, for it cannot go
above 150.
- And now for the
bad news. . . . . .what can I say! 10/10!~
The
Power of One~
The Power of One, the newest Poke'mon movie was released quite some time
ago. The movie is about the three legendary element birds. Here is the
basic story:
1- A crazy collector
targets the three birds for capture. He first takes Moltres.
2- Ash visits a tropical
island and takes part in the re-enactment of the legend. He has to journey
to get the element orbs- Fire, Lightning and Ice.
3- Ask realises that
the legend has become deadly true. He joiurneys to get the orbs- for real!
4- The collector captures
Zapdos. Ash and friends are sucked into the collectors huge, flying machine.
There they use their Poke'mon to free the birds, who aren't exactly grateful.
They begin to wreak destruction on the woirld, starting with Ash!
5- Lugia, the lord
of the ocean current appears to help Ash to complete his quest. He defends
him against the birds.
6- Ash journeys and
collcts the orbs. HJe places them in their places on Slowking's Island,
where Slaoqking stands guard.
7- The birds returned
to their islands. Cosmic peace returns to the earth.
So there it is. The
newest movie. When you visit it in the first week you recieve an Ancient
Mew, the first card that crazy collector got (gulp). After that you get
one of the three legendary bird promo cards- Articuno, Zapdos and Motres.
The next one is the
Emporer of The Crystal Tower. The Emporer is the legendary dog, Anton.
I think he is the evolved of Arcanine. ]
