My name is Paul Robinson, I was born in 1961 and went to Whitehall Primary School in Caldmore and Joseph Leckie Comprehensive School in the Delves, Walsall, West Midlands, UK. At junior and senior school I was in the football team and also played for Walsall schoolboys. In the evenings I frequented the local discos in town, which were the Central Hall youth club and the 'Whit' youth club. On leaving school in 1977 I got into the CB radio bug (handle Robbo) but found that rather childish when it became legal, so I decided to go for amateur radio, and still hold a current licence to this day (G0 FSD). My greatest hobby has been my motor-cycling, which has carried me all round the country to different places and to meet many interesting people. In 1995 I found computers and since then I have become quite competent (be it self-taught) in building them and sorting out problems that arose along the way. I have been married to Sandra since 1980 and although we don't have any children we still enjoy each other's company and spend most of our spare time together. Above are two pictures of me at different stages in my life (just move the mouse over to see the other picture), one taken in 1999 and one from 1976 just before I left senior school. |
