Hola, Bonjour, how are we today. I'm the ever so lovable Jessica Romero. For your entertainment, I will tell you my interests. I love to debate, talking is my passion, advice is my specialty, and I'm interested in Hotel Restaurant Management. That's just to keep me busy while I'm going to school for my Child Psychiatry. I'm a determined seventeen-year-old senior going to St. Philip's College trying to get a head start. | |||||||||||||||||||
| School & work Experience | ||||||||||||||||||||
| I'm attending St. Phililp's College for dual credit, which is high school and college credit together. My Major is Hospitality. I did a job shadow/internship with the Holiday Inn Select. I'm also taking a class in Safty and Sanitation class, just the other day I aced my first test. Those are just two steps toward my career goal of being a manager. I've also had two jobs in the resturant business. My first job was with the Resturant Rio Rio Cantina on the River Walk I was a hostess there. It was a fun summer job. At 15 years I learned to bartend, after hours. When I went to get my first pay check in the office I learned how there catering buisness works and I took a couple of reservations down. That was an exciting first job. My second job was with McDonald's located downtown I was a cashier there I was up for a manager's position. I got the position, but since I was only sixteen they could't pay me like a manager. So I had the plesure of having a civilized conversation with the new owner and I quit. Not before swearing that I would come back as an over qualified Manager. These experiences led me to choose my carreer goal. | |||||||||||||||||||

| My Future! Well after graduating from Project Phoenix I plan to persue this dream of being a Manager. While I'm making my money in the Hospitality Industry I plan to pay for my schooling for a Psychiatrist(my purpose for staying in school). Oh and if all goes which I hope I'm going to buy my mom a BIG Truck like I promised. Somewhere along the line I'm sure a husband, and kids will come into the picture. | |||||||||||||||||||
