This is my other homepage. The main page provides hints and help for computer games, namely Adventure/RPG and Strategy games. I am currently deciding whether to add a special section to my other page that involves free distribution of computer games by amateur programmers like myself. If this idea is popular among my visitors, I may move the games to this site and make it strictly for downloading games. Please mail me some feedback about this idea and what you would like to see. Now that you've read all this, onward to the section!
This page will provide you with the information every Avatar user has
been waiting for: A comprehensive item list that provides all the helpful stats necessary
for optimum character performance. As you probably have noticed, there are
thousands of items in the game, so this will hardly be complete or useful to everyone
for some time. But I promise to keep working on it and I would like for anyone else
who is documenting the item information to send me items I do not have yet or may
have overlooked. If you have not used my list yet, read below the link.
If you are new to Avatar read down even further. I would like to give special thanks
to Chuft (aka Doommage), Morrolan and
Durak
for providing many of the item stats in the list. Thank you, follow the links, and enjoy!
Alphabetical by Inventory Name | Alphabetical by 'identify' Name | Lists by Location on Body |
Items A-N | Items A-N | Armwear |
Items O-Z | Items O-Z | Rings |
Those of you who have not used my list before should note the following:
Some of you out there may have come across this page through a link or other and may be asking yourself, "What is Avatar?" Avatar is a MUD. In other words, it is a game hundreds of people around the world play at the same time through Telnet. In my humble opinion, Avatar is the best MUD that can be found. It is widely used (over 100 users every time I've logged on!) and it is absolutely free. The detail is extensive and the world is constantly monitored and updated to ensure quality playing. For more information, visit Avatar's website with the link below.
Whether or not my idea to enhance this to a free game site works, I will be placing a link to download my own homemade RPG computer game once I have enough of it built to give a demo. It should not be long. I already have the game engine built, several maps drawn, and half a quest finished. The game is in QBasic, but the finished product will be comparable to nintendo (better if I can get the midi music and bitmapped graphics to work properly...if you have any hints, let me know.) Return often to hear of my progress.
