We met online in September of 1999. We met in person in November of 1999, and have been side by side since that day. We have so many things in common and each day we find out there is something else we like doing together. Our life is kind of simple right now, since we are building a new one together.
On the 5th of May (Yes Cinco de Mayo) We were married. It was a wonderful ceremony at the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles La. There were 20 to 30 Family and friends in attendence, and the best part is, we were married by a real ships captain.
We have three great passions in our life. Our first passion is our grand children. We have three, Two girls and a boy. Athena is 9 years old and as sweet as they come. Rhiannon is 8, and is the daredevil of the bunch. Blake is 2 1/2 and is definetly all boy. Having them around keeps us young. Their laughter invigorates us, and their smiles melt all the cold, hard edges of our hearts that we have built up over the years.
Next we have sailing. For those of you who have never sailed, you are missing a great thrill. For those of you who have sailed, "Why aren't you out there on the water right now?" Sailing is the most peaceful, and calming "exercise" a person can participate in. Yes, there are lines to pull on, and sails to move around, but when the realization strikes you that you are using nothing but the wind to move around on the face of the earth it makes all the effort worth it. The peace comes with the fact that you are out there moving around on the water without a motor throbbing and only the sounds of the water sliding by. It is a peace that you must experience once in your life, if only to say, "Yes I have been sailing."
Our third great passion is our "online life". We have spent countless hours in chat rooms meeting the most wonderful people from all over the country, and even around the world. We love playing "waves" and helping others to learn about them. In only a few short months we have collected over 1000 wav files. we enjoy both chat room, and full song wavs.

Our grandchildren are the brightest light in our lives. They bring us smiles on rainy days and lift us up when we are down. They love us, not because we are their "Grandparents", but because they have fun with us. We play games, go "choppin", eat pizza, and they win our hearts all over again every time they say, "I YUV YOU". In case you couldn't tell we are VERY proud Grandparents. They are the beautiful flowers in our life
