Welcome to the Winters Family Web Site

This Winters Family site is dedicated to the descendents of  James Winters (1819-1868) and Mary Ann Thompson (1828-1861) and Edmonia Finch (1840-1915) of Schuyler County, Illinois.

For those of you who have been receiving the Newsletter in the past and/or have attended the reunions, you will be familiar with the people and the information provided.  For the newcomers I hope you will find this site a welcome place to learn about family, meet new relatives, make new friends.

Our web site is being hosted at no cost by RootsWeb.  Please feel free to send in information and photos to be posted on this site.  Also, please tell all family members about our site and encourage them to check it regularly and to send in information about their family.  Maybe we will be able to find some of the "missing" families that we were unable to locate prior to the 1991 reunion.
